Player vs. Player (PvP) - The Main Event
PvP is where the skill meets the stakes. Challenge players globally and prove you are the best chain ball master.
1. Finding an Opponent: Matchmaking
The matchmaking system is designed for quick, fair pairing based primarily on the stake amount.
Select 'PvP' Mode: Access the main lobby.
Set Your Stake: Choose the token amount you are willing to wager (see Custom Stake Setup below).
Enter Queue: The system will immediately search for another player who has also queued up for a match with an identical stake token amount type.
Match Found: Once paired, the match starts instantly.
Note: For maximum fairness, our system prioritizes matching players based on their skill rating (ELO/MMR), though the primary requirement is matching the specific wager.
2. Custom Stake Setup
This feature is unique to Match Chain Ball, giving you control over the potential reward.
How to Select the Stake
Choose Token Type: You can stake using our stable token. Future updates will introduce Match Chain Ball native token.
Select Amount: Use the slider or input box to define the exact stake amount you wish to wager (e.g., 1, 5, 20, 50, 100).
Confirm Wager: Once confirmed, this amount is held in an escrow until the match concludes.
Match Fee / House Rake Explained:
To ensure the long-term health and development of the game, a small match fee (or "rake") is automatically deducted from the total winning pot.
The Rake: 10% of the total pot (Player A's stake + Player B's stake) is taken as the platform fee.
Example: If two players stake 100 each (200 total stake), the 10% rake is 20. The winner receives 180.
3. Game Rules
Match Chain Ball follows the Standard World 8-Ball Rules (with minor digital modifications):
Break: Winner of the lag/coin toss breaks. Ball must hit a rail or be pocketed.
Object Balls: Players must pocket their assigned group (Solids or Stripes).
Foul: Scratching the cue ball, knocking the cue ball off the table, hitting opponent's balls first, or failing to hit a rail after contact.
The 8-Ball: Must be pocketed last. Pocketing the 8-Ball prematurely or scratching on the 8-Ball results in an automatic loss.
4. Winning & Losing: Automated Payouts
The blockchain handles all reward distribution with immediate transparency.
Winning: Upon sinking the 8-Ball legally, the winning player is instantly credited with the total pot (minus the 10% rake) directly to their account balance.
Losing: The losing player's wager is released from escrow to the winning pot.
Training Versus AI (Bot)
Practice is key to becoming a Chain Ball champion. This mode is a stress-free environment to hone your skills.
Purpose: To familiarize yourself with the game physics, shot power controls, and aiming mechanics without financial pressure.
Selecting Difficulty: You can choose from three AI levels:
Easy: Perfect for new players learning the controls.
Medium: A challenging opponent with advanced aiming and defensive strategies.
Hard: An almost-perfect opponent designed to test top players.
Crucial Note on Rewards: Training Versus AI mode does NOT involve token or provide any crypto rewards.
Farming (Coming Soon)
We are actively developing our ecosystem to reward our loyal community members.
Concept: The Farming mechanism will incentivize players to lock up ($Stake) their tokens or provide liquidity to the token pools. In return, they will earn periodic rewards.
What You Can Farm: Players will be able to farm:

In-game resources for future enhancements.
